Announcment

With my husbands new job we'll be in Montgomery county for a few more months. And then we'll be moving to Japan. I'm still taking orders, but only for a few more months. After that I'll be taking some time off focus on packing, moving and taking some time to set up our new residence. It might take up to a year before were settled enough that I can start baking and selling cakes in Japan. But I'll keep posting the monthly challenges between myself and Duff ABC's, as well as my children birthday cakes. And of course if any of you readers are IN Japan I'll be located in Tokyo, so while my phone number will be changing, my email and blog address will stay the same. I'll keep you posted as things develop.

Time Off

I know... I haven't posted much in a long time. Here were a few reasons excuses why:

1) My husband lost his job back in May. So he spent the summer job hunting and as part of that hunt spent 6 weeks in Japan. So while he was sightseeing job hunting I was a single parent to our four children. Needless to say I was a bit preoccupied, so I turned down all cake orders this summer (with a few exceptions).
2) When my husband finally got a job (yeah!) I got sick. Yes, I was down and out with a wicked sinus infection for over a month. I'm finally,after 3 rounds of antibiotics AND a terrible allergic reaction, better.
3) And then came... Hurricane Ike.
