About me

I have been married for 9 1/2 years, and we have 4 children. My oldest three have been diagnosied with aspergers. For those of you wondering what that is it's complicated, but the quickest, or easiest explaination is that they don't understand normal social rules/expectations etc, they tend to get anxious easily and act a few years younger than they are. But at the same time are very focused on their particular interests and very smart... There's a lot more to it, of course and feel free to contact me with any questions or advice.

During our 9 years of marriage we've moved 10 times with number 11 looming this next summer. But that should be it for a while as we'll be starting a PHD program (my husband) somewhere, I'll keep you posted as to where that might be! My husband lost his job and while we're waiting to start a PHD program next fall we live with his generous parents in their basement.

I stay busy with 4 kids, a part time Cake Business (working on the full time part), a pot bellied pig, cooking meals, doing laundry, co-op teaching at my kids school and crafting when I can. Cleaning often get's dropped off at the wayside.
